Job Overview
We’re seeking a Technical Talent Recruiter who will serve as the strategic talent partner to leadership and own full-cycle recruiting for our technical and non-technical teams. This is a builder role focused on attracting, assessing, and closing exceptional engineering, AI and non-technical talent. You will design structured interview loops and scorecards, stand up efficient tooling and automation, elevate candidate experience, and help lay the foundations of People Ops in a fast-moving, in-office environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Talent Strategy & Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Own end-to-end recruiting for software, ML/AI, data, infra/platform, and product engineering roles
- Define role scope, leveling, competencies, interview plans, and scorecards with hiring managers
- Run structured screens, organize debriefs, and drive decision quality
- Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Generate top-of-funnel via targeted outbound, referrals, communities, meetups, OSS contributors, university programs, and events
- Build market maps for niche skill sets and maintain warm pipelines for current and future needs
- Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
- Deliver a high-touch, transparent process: timely communication, well-run interviews, and clear expectations
- Enable interviewers with rubrics and training; craft candidate-facing materials and role briefs that reflect our culture and bar
- Stakeholder Partnership & Hiring Excellence
- Advise leaders on talent markets, compensation trends, and role trade-offs; align on success profiles
- Coach interviewers on structured evaluation and bias reduction; calibrate for a consistently high talent bar
- Data, Process & Tooling
- Maintain ATS hygiene and dashboards; track time-to-fill, stage conversion, source mix, offer-accept, and pipeline diversity
- Improve workflows and SLAs; pilot automation and AI-assisted sourcing/screening tools where appropriate
- Offers, Onboarding & Compliance
- Craft competitive offers with Finance/People; lead closing strategies; manage references, background checks, and work authorization
- Coordinate onboarding handoffs and support first-week experience
- Uphold recruiting compliance and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Recruiting Expertise
- 4–8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting with a strong record hiring engineers and ML/AI talent in competitive markets
- Consistent success in proactive sourcing and closing
- Technical Aptitude
- Ability to assess core engineering and ML skill sets; comfortable discussing systems, stacks, and research-adjacent roles
- Data & Operations
- Fluent with ATS workflows and analytics; identifies funnel drop-offs and bias; iterates for throughput and quality
